You put original content on your website and your have a search engine index crawl period of say google as 7 days, as soon as you posted a unique article or post someone copied your unique content and pasted it on his website which gets crawled daily. Unfortunaely the search engine will index the unique content from his website first and give credit for the unique content to his website and after 7 days when it crawls your website, it will consider your unique content duplicate since it already has the same content indexed from another website which was indexed before you.

SOLUTION: The best solution is to see that your website is crawled regularly. One way to do this is update it regularly. Another way is to get quality backlinks from websites that are crawled on a daily or hourly basis.
